This position will monitor and diagnose the operation of systems and equipment through the use of Direct Digital Control (DDC) Building Automated System (BAS) and will assist in developing routine corrective and preventive maintenance duties to be performed by staff and contractors. Selection Criteria Minimum: • High school or GED plus a 2-year technical degree in air conditioning functions such as heating, cooling and ventilating or Associate degree in HVAC • Three (3) years' experience repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment in commercial buildings which included one (1) year working on related computerized and digital controlled systems, operating automated building systems by Siemens and Trane, or similar systems; andPossession of Universal CFC Recovery License and HVAC Mechanic Journeyman's license from Virginia, Maryland or the District of Columbia is required.
