HVAC Technician BL James and Son LLC is a fast-growing company that provides HVAC maintenance and repair services to commercial and residential properties throughout Arlington, VA. We are currently looking for an HVAC technician to join our team and provide exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems (i.e., compressors, registers, fans, fansblades, motors, etc.) • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment at client locations (pre-employment testing is provided) • Troubleshoot electrical issues on HVAC equipment at client locations (pre-employment testing is provided) • Perform on-site repairs of HVAC equipment at client locations (pre-employment testing is provided) • Communicate with clients and BL James and Son LLC representatives in a professional manner to ensure high quality customer service • Complete full system installations Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • 3+ years of experience as an HVAC technician in a commercial setting preferred not required • EPA certification (HVAC National Registry) preferred but not required. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics a plus but not required. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to identify and recommend best possible solutions to customers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance Schedule: • 10 hour shift • Monday to Friday • Overtime Supplemental Pay: • Signing bonus Experience: • HVAC: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: • EPA Type II (Preferred) Work Location: In person
