Responsibility: Responsibilities of the low voltage electrician include, but not limited to: • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, such as security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring. • Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to identify and resolve any issues. • Install low voltage systems, including running cables, mounting equipment, and connecting wires. • Installs, identifies and terminates various types of cable and wire in various locations including understanding of industry standard color code. • Maintain records by documenting installation, service, and testing. • Interacting with clients in the field to ensure the work is being completed properly and timely. • Able to work unsupervised and highly self-motivated and detail oriented. • Able to read design drawings. Qualifications: We are looking for those team members that possess the following traits: • Commercial low voltage experience. • Fire alarm licensed in the state of Ohio. • Experience with installation and maintenance of security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring. • Ability to interpret and apply blueprints, schematics and drawings, maintenance manuals, and assembly instructions. • Familiarity with all local electrical codes. • Strong technical and analytical skills, i.e. diagnosing the cause of electrical breakdowns. • Knowledge of proper grounding and bonding methods. • Great attitude. • Reliable. • Productive. • Committed to safety. • Committed to being drug free. • Valid driver’s license with transportation.
