Overview We are hiring Electrical Distribution Field Technicians to support a Power Distribution Engineering team. In this entry-level role, you will conduct field inspections, collect data, and submit work orders for engineers to complete repairs and upgrades. Responsibilities • Inspect overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electrical distribution facilities. • Collect and document field data accurately. • Prepare minor work orders and maintenance reports. • Assist with storm damage assessments. • Communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and utility partners. • Ride along with a dedicated mentor who will provide hands-on paid training. • Work primarily outdoors and drive a company vehicle to various utility sites. Qualifications • High school diploma, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. • Comfortable working outside in various conditions and driving a company vehicle. • Available to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime. • Professional communication skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn new tools quickly. • Eager to learn new skills like AutoCAD, GIS mapping software, and electrical design tools. • Prior technical experience or related coursework is a plus.
