Field Technician Electrical Distribution

*Overview* We are hiring Electrical Distribution Field Technicians to support a Power Distribution Engineering team. In this role, you will conduct field inspections, collect data, and submit work orders for engineers to complete repairs or upgrades. This is a long-term opportunity offering steady full-time hours, paid training, weekly pay, and room to grow within a well-established company. • Responsibilities* • Inspect overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electrical distribution facilities. • Collect and document field data. • Prepare minor work orders and maintenance reports. • Assist with storm damage assessments. • Communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and agencies. • Ride along with a dedicated mentor who will provide training and ongoing guidance. • Drive a company vehicle to various local sites. • Qualifications* • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid drivers license and high school diploma. • Available to work first shift, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. • Proven history of reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail. • At least 1 year of work experience in any field. • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). • Interest in learning AutoCAD, GIS mapping software, or electrical design tools. • Industry experience in utilities, power distribution, telecommunications, or construction is a plus.
