ELECTRICAL Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrical trade is responsible for assessing any electrical issues involving machinery and building maintenance. Primary Goals and Responsibilities: • Corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment and/or building facilities equipment. • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures. • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects. • Connect wires to fixtures, motors and other electrical equipment; replace switches and fuses. • Operate testing equipment, power tools, hand tools and precision measuring instruments. • Support equipment modifications and equipment installations. • Conduct routine audits and verifications to confirm the completion of maintenance activities. • Arrive on the job, ready to work every day according to the work plan and schedule. • Demonstrates role model behavior for safety, integrity and ethical standards. • Ensure all work performed complies with environmental regulations. Electrician Journeyman

Overview: Perform all tasks required under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Respond to CMMS-generated work orders for preventative and reactive equipment repairs on automated production machinery and facility equipment. Assist Production and Mfg/Process Engineering for equipment adjustments and continuous improvement. Assists with mechanical system repairs. Conduct safe work practices and 6S methods. Responsibilities: Performs all types of electrical installation, works from schematic drawings, makes adjustments, repairs and replacements to motor controls and instruments, also does electrical repairs and rebuilding work under supervision of maintenance manager using blueprints, documented quality procedures, work instructions, set-up and operating procedures, tool charts, gauges, etc. • Daily exposure to manufacturing environment involving fork truck activity and automated production machinery. • Perform scheduled/planned maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment. • May be assigned to do maintenance work when necessary and qualified. • Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic components and circuits to locate defects. • Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts. • Capable of repairing pneumatics and hydraulics. • Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications. • Diagnostic and programming capabilities for PLC’s used throughout the plant. • Maintains records of repairs, calibrations and tests. • Must be capable of and does make repair parts from sketch, sample or blueprints. • Responsible for diagnosing and correcting trouble of all descriptions on equipment. • Responsible for preventative maintenance and documentation on equipment. • Assists maintenance manager in purchase of replacement or spare parts required. • When required, transports material to or from outside facilities. • Required to use handcarts, lift trucks, overhead crane or other transport vehicles efficiently and safely. • Maintains clean work areas. • Maintain 6S standards throughout the plant. • Initiate and implement Continuous Improvement ideas. • Follow and promote company safety standards to ensure safe work environment. • Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures. • Observes all plant and departmental safety practices and procedures. • Must be able to work inside/outside throughout the year in the various environments present.
