Summary Summary: Performs skilled duties primarily as a Licensed Electrician based on experience and certification. Also responsible for performing routine maintenance procedures, troubleshoots all equipment maintenance problems, assists in other areas of facilities and grounds maintenance as directed. Assists with training and orientation of existing and new staff. Makes recommendations for process improvements, participates in lean initiatives. Participates in projects assigned to the department, performs all required preventative and corrective maintenance work orders, troubleshoots problems with facility equipment involving, electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC failures. Maintains and services equipment and systems such as ice makers, pneumatic tube carriers, HVAC systems, doors/automatic openers and assists in the boiler plant operation. Maintains building finishes by performing drywall finishing, painting, staining and repair and application of wall coverings. Education: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with GED. Two-years technical training from a vocational or technical school, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Valid state driver's license is required. Requires a recognized electrician license. Experience: Four-years combined experience as a maintenance tech and/or commercial electrician.

Pay up to $40 per hour Shifts Available: 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am) • * 2nd shift premium $1.50 per hour • * 3rd shift premium $1.00 per hour Opportunities: Metal Technologies is committed to growing and developing our employees by providing educational reimbursement and on-the-job training. • 401(k), company match • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance • Paid holidays • Educational reimbursement • Employee Assistance Program • Uniforms provided General Summary: This position is responsible for performing a variety of electrical and basic mechanical maintenance and repair work on plant equipment including Disamatic molding machines, shot blast machines, furnaces, pumps, fans, gear boxes, shafts, belts, water and air lines, valves, motors, electrical panels, generators, boilers, etc. Essential Functions: • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair foundry related electrical systems (i.e. relay logic and PLC) and equipment. • Install electrical systems to support a variety of foundry related equipment. • Ensure that these systems are safe and running efficiently. • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. • Ensure all work areas remain clean and free of safety hazards. • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices. • Inspect the premises regularly, conduct routine maintenance, and perform repairs when necessary. • Provide suggestions for equipment replacement. • Document and maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs. • Comply with all safety and PPE requirements as identified in plant protocols. • May be assigned other duties as needed. Experience Required: • Minimum of three (3) years Industrial Maintenance Electrician experience required. • Prior knowledge of green sand foundry practices, principles and equipment preferred. • Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code. • The ability to interpret and apply information on schematic diagrams, drawings and charts for fault isolation and repair of assigned systems and system subassemblies is required. Education & Skills Required: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Knowledge and ability to utilize a PC and related software. Tools: Employee must supply own common tools.
