Responsibilities: The Master Electrician is responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of all electrical systems, including systems additions or modifications on a variety of plant equipment and facilities. They will be responsible for working on all electrical systems that 480 volts and below at the Hillsdale location. Duties and Responsibilities: • Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments or replacements. • Create, maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment in the plant. • Repairs, installs, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using appropriate testing equipment and tools. This may include control hardware, including PLC’s and HMI’s. • Partner with machine operators on equipment troubleshooting automation needs to increase efficiency. • Read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints. • Fabricate/weld parts as needed. • Leads, trains and/or guides other electricians or qualified maintenance personnel in applicable procedures and techniques. • Perform building, routine and preventative maintenance, including repairs to facility equipment – mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and/or hydraulic. • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of both equipment and supplies. • Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. • Performs other jobs duties as required. Qualifications: Education and Experience Required: • High school diploma or GED. • Possession of a current State of Michigan Master Electrician certification, and maintain certification as required. • Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and 5S (including Kaizen and Gemba). Electrical Controls Technician

Operate and maintain electrical infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems. Ensure uptime and reliability of production systems. Collaborate with our teams, contractors, and vendors to address issues and implement improvements. In this second-shift, onsite position, you will report to the Quincy, MI maintenance manager. Learn more about the Quincy Plant: https://careers.conagrabrands.com/quincy Key Responsibilities • Monitor and maintain plant electrical systems, including power distribution and control systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and programming issues promptly. • Support automation initiatives and coordinate system integration. • Design, test, and debug PLC and HMI/SCADA programs. • Read and create ladder logic, flow diagrams, wiring diagrams, and blueprints. • Oversee contractor work and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. • Maintain documentation and prepare test procedures. • Use diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope) for troubleshooting. • Apply knowledge of instrumentation (temperature, pressure), pneumatics, motors, drives, and gearboxes. • Train team members and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications • Proficiency in programming, analysis, and system design. • Experience with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), P&IDs (Process Instrumentation Drawings), and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). • Minimum 5 years of experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), instrumentation, and servo systems. • Knowledge of process control principles, standards and practices • Working knowledge of desktop software configuration, and networking/ communications protocols. • Proficiency using a variety of diagnostic tools including Digital Multi-meter, oscilloscope and megohmmeter. • Familiarity with networking and communication protocols. • Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field, preferred. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Comfortable using precision, hand, and power tools. • Requires to be available to respond to emergency situations as they arise. • A high degree of independence and collaboration skills • Minimal travel Physical Requirements • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks involving standing, walking, climbing, and bending. • Visual acuity for close and distance work, color difference, and depth perception. • Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise levels. • Reasonable accommodation is available for individuals with disabilities. #LI-Onsite Compensation: Pay Range:$59,000-$79,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
