Electrician - Facilities Maintenance I

In this role, you will impact our operations by ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning correctly, which will enhance safety and operational efficiency across our facilities. Your technical skills will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues promptly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist in performing electrical maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems. • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues. • Support other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of facility projects and repairs. • Troubleshoot electrical issues including lighting, power distribution, breakers, switches, and control systems to ensure safe and continuous facility operations. • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, emergency generators, and other power systems in accordance with NEC and local codes. • Install and maintain interior and exterior lighting systems, including energy-efficient upgrades (e.g., LED retrofits, motion sensors). YOU MUST HAVE • A minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field. • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations. • Familiarity with using electrical testing and diagnostic tools. • Experience with assisting in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems in a facility environment. • Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and blueprints. job summary: Global Manufacturer is seeking a permanent Electrical Technician. This position is located near Springfield, Ohio. The Electrical Technician will be on a rotating night shift, 6p-6a. The hourly rate is commensurate with experience ranging from $29 to $33 an hour, plus OT, a shift premium, and excellent health and retirement benefits.
