In this exciting role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all electrical equipment within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Your Key Responsibilities: • Conduct tests on electrical systems, circuits, and equipment to ensure safe operation. • Inspect systems and components to identify hazards or defects requiring repair. • Troubleshoot, program, and upgrade Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to optimize production processes. • Collaborate with vendors to identify parts necessary for repairs and recommend purchases to your Supervisor. • Read and update instrumentation loop diagrams, E & I drawings, and blueprints. • Program AC and DC variable speed drives for efficient machinery operation. • Enhance and maintain the power distribution system, Motor Control Centers (MCC), and switch gears. • Install electrical equipment as required in the facility. Preferred Skills and Experience: • Experience following lock-out procedures to ensure safety. • A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on accuracy. • Excellent planning, organizing, and communication skills. • Proficient in problem analysis and solution development. • A team player with high motivation and a positive attitude. Provides general supervision to subordinate foremen engaged in the installation of electrical projects; equipment such as Control panels, VFD’s, Installing both EMT and Rigid Conduit, pulling both low and medium voltage wire and terminating same, Replacing industrial lights, able to trouble shoot control systems, cable tray installation, and other similar industrial skills used in industrial electrical work. 8. Monitors and supports work as performed, directs subordinate supervisors and crews, and schedules work according to the pace of the job and other trades. 9. Responsible for productivity, efficiency, and completion of crew/projects. 10. Handles or oversees the disposition of required office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, safety reports, etc. 11. Is responsible for overall project safety performance. Assures employees are properly trained or instructed in performance of duties to which assigned. Assures compliance with all GDC safety processes and protocols. Investigates or assists in investigation and reporting of any accident or safety incidents involving jobsite employees.
