JOB SUMMARY: Supervise & coordinate workload for the electrical department while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met and providing technical assistance when necessary; ensures proper execution of scheduled electrical work as directed by production manager. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve as a back-up to the production manager for the electrical department • Create daily work schedule for electrical team members based on production schedule • Review engineering prints and bill-of-materials [BOM] & communicate with production manager, project manager, and engineering regarding any electrical issues or concerns • Coordinate with warehouse shipping & receiving managers for material kits and customer furnished equipment [CFE] for project related material • Inspect all electrical projects on the floor for precision, speed, and efficiency • Ensure all team members have the correct parts, tools, and materials to complete daily assigned tasks • Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues that arise on projects • Maintain skid status report daily • Align new team members with crew leads for electrical processes and procedures • Coach team members in areas of performance, attendance, and safety Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Work Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience in the electrical field. 2+ years of electrical installation and repair experience. Education: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent. Electrical training from tech school. Related Experience: • General math skills • Working knowledge of NEC codes • Read production drawings fluently • Written and oral communication • Attention to detail • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills • Strong technical skills • Project management • Microsoft Office Suite experience WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.

Core Responsibilities • Coordinate all medium voltage switching with plant electrical engineer and area management. • Mentor and train other electricians in support of the department’s growth and development. • Maintain industrial electrical equipment. • Work with electrical systems such as generators, Exciters, transformers, Motors, HV/MV/LV switchgear and DC systems, and battery chargers. • Perform trouble shooting as needed to identify potential or actual electrical equipment problems. • Perform and document Preventative maintenance and testing on all electrical equipment according to manufacturer and/or Plant requirements. • Monitor work request and record work results in the SAP system. • Participate in preparing for annual outages which require managing several contractors with the goal of executing parallel jobs with high quality results in a short period of time (Contract administration). • Update equipment documentation and drawings as needed. • Strict adherence to safety regulations and plant policies. • Coordinate activities with Operations, Engineering, and Mechanical team members for maximum plant safety and efficiency Job Requirements • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification required. • AA/AS/BS or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred • National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace Certification. • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 hour and 30-hour Construction Safety Certification. • Protective Relay operation and maintenance knowledge preferred. • Demonstrated experience with: • GE Relays, SEL Relays. • Square D Equipment such as P24 Switch Gear, VR MV Breakers, and Master Pack Breakers. • ASCO transfer switches. • Variable Frequency Drives by ABB, Yaskana, Square D and GE. • Experience in troubleshooting electrical circuits/equipment. • Rigid conduit bending. • Familiar with NEC. • Proficient with troubleshooting tools/equipment (meters). • SAP & general computer knowledge preferred. Electrician Apprentice

Overview Function as an Apprentice Electrician, under a certified or licensed Electrician for Bergelectric Corp. assist electricians with installing new electrical systems and repairing existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes along with all Bergelectric Corp. policies and procedures. Support activities at commercial, industrial, institutional and residential project locations. Responsibilities • Assist with the installation, repair, maintenance and testing of commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems in full support of Bergelectric Corp. safety, operations and productivity initiatives. • Use industry related hand tools and power tools, under supervision. • Assist the Electrician with measuring, cutting, bending, threading and installing wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems. • Assist the Electrician with wires and cables within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc. • Work with an Electrician to splice and terminate wires at junction points. • Clean, gather and transport materials to electricians on the construction site. • Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members. • Maintain workflow schedule to ensure all Bergelectric Corp. productivity objectives are met. • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers and vendors. • Adhere to all Bergelectric Corp.’s safety policies and procedures. Qualifications • Must be currently enrolled or working on enrollment in an approved Apprentice program. • Knowledge of electrical theory, basic circuits, branch circuits, and specialty systems. • Knowledge of magnetic induction, three-phase transformers, conductors and wiring methods. • The ability to read and understand electrical single line blueprints. • Familiar with aspects of operation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems. • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment and how to safely use them.
