Electrician

Lead Electrician

Description Positions Summary: Install, construct, maintain, and repair various electrical systems, components, and machines in industrial and commercial locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Proficient with PLC installing, troubleshooting, resetting, and operation • Bends and installs all sizes and types of conduit and other raceways in a neat and workmanlike manner • Installs all sizes and types of conductors (including power and telecommunications) in conduit, cable trays and other raceways. • Terminates and/or connects wire to terminal strips, lugs, instruments, devices, relays, and other control devices • Installs circuit breakers, equipment, panels, transformers, switchboards, boxes, and devices • Works with blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches, and line diagrams. • Work directly with management · Will work alongside others on the jobsite - including electrical work, welding, insulating, and any other tasks as required. · Must complete probationary period and no more than 3 points. · Watch over day-to-day safety, productivity, accuracy, materials, rental equipment and workmanship of each project . Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer. The primary responsibility of this position is to support voltage regulator production at the Nacogdoches facility, focusing primarily on assembly and testing of regulator cores/coils and units. This position will also support other manufacturing functions including fabrication, control build, and testing. The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: The primary responsibility of this position is to support voltage regulator production at the Nacogdoches facility, focusing primarily on assembly and testing of regulator cores/coils and units. This position will also support other manufacturing functions including fabrication, control build, and testing. • Support Naco production by answering technical and product definition data (PDD) questions and resolving build and test questions. Main area of focus will be cores, coils and unit test but position will also provide support to control build and test, unit assembly and fabrication. • Attend tier meetings. Act as a liaison between Production and Engineering both in Naco and Badger. • Evaluate and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and issue Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to modify PDD. • Ensure product is built and tested to Industry, Quality and Engineering design standards. • Maintain PDD data such as drawings, bills of materials, and characteristics. • Implement design changes in the shop ensuring changes are implemented with minimal issues. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering OR related Engineering degree + 1 year electrical experience (Electrical Testing, Coil Winding, Transformer Design, and/or Power Systems) • Three (3) years of experience in Engineering. • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future • Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Nacogdoches, TX.
