Pleasant, TX location is looking for a licensed Electrician/ or Journeyman’s Electrician. RESUME REQUIRED ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned • Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant. • Help maintain electrical equipment through PM procedures. • Assist in instituting new control systems. • Research and develop better controls and electrical processes. • Track and monitor reoccurring problems and provide solutions to correct those problems. • Identify weaknesses in the equipment related to electrical systems and develop solutions. • Understand the technical functionality on electrical equipment and be able to train operators and maintenance technicians on the operations and troubleshooting of equipment. • Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient production operation and all other duties as assigned by supervisor. See More Details >>RESPONSIBILITIES: • Connect 3-phase, 480V wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools. • Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools. • Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. • Configuring and programming of PLC’s and VFD’s. • Consult diagrams and technical documents such as schematics, manuals, blueprints, standards and codes. • Apply 5’s methods to tool carts, shop, parts storage areas and work area. • Work with production and department supervision to schedule equipment down time for repairs. • Work with tool room and purchasing to identify and order parts. • Fill out detailed daily logs and work orders. • Comply with all Safety Policies and Procedures • Comply with ISO Quality Standards • Follow Department Specific Work Instructions • Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to service, repair, calibrate, regulate, fine-tune, or test machines, devices, and equipment. • Must have the physical capability of performing work from ladders and man-lifts up to 60 feet. • Ability to run EMT and Rigid conduit and pull wires. • Ability to work and communicate effectively with others. • Ability to work on more than one task at a time and adapt to changing conditions. • Ability to operate mobile equipment such as manlifts and forklifts. • Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical experience. • Mechanical knowledge preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Maintains composure in stressful situations. • Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
