Benefits • Company Tuck/Van • Company Power Tool Provided • Health insurance after one year of employment • Holidays off • Paid Drive Time ( If Required ) Responsibilities: • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures. • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to identify and resolve issues. • Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components. • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to detect hazards, defects, or necessary repairs while ensuring compliance with electrical codes. • Plan and execute the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local regulations. • Install ground leads and connect power cables to electrical equipment. • Route conduit through designated partitions, walls, or concealed areas and pull insulated wires or cables to complete circuit connections. • Construct and fabricate parts, securing electrical boxes to walls for switches or outlets. • Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services as needed. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate documentation and transfer of service-related business data. • Conduct post-job inspections to ensure work areas are clean and customer property is respected. • Maintain the company vehicle by keeping it clean, organized, and in good condition. • Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. • Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions. • Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing or walking. • Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment Qualifications: • Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience. • Must Have a Valid Michigan Jorneymans Licence • Experience in in residential service and maintenance operation. • Commercial Electrical Experience Minimum 2 years • Provide Electrical License number. • High school diploma or GED. • Associate degree in related field preferred. • Basic math and reading comprehension. • Knowledge of electrical field concepts, practices, best practices, and procedures including the technical ability to understand and interpret Electrical Codes, Life Safety Codes, NFPA 2023, Uniform Building Codes and the Michigan Residential Code. • Solid communication and customer service skills. • Must have appropriate trade tools. • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
