Master Electrician (Full-Time)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with the ability to handle various electrical systems and installations. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Master Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Industry Standards. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. • Troubleshoot electrical issues using various tools such as ohmmeters and power tools. • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of wiring systems. • Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards during all electrical work. • Perform high voltage installations and maintenance as required. • Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to integrate electrical systems effectively. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently on construction sites. • Provide maintenance person services when necessary, including frame carpentry tasks related to electrical installations. Skills • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician. • Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems. • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and their applications in electrical work. • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other tradespeople. Journeyman Electrician - Water Resource Recovery Facility

This position preforms skilled electrical work in the installation, maintenance, overhaul, repair, and testing of power generating and distribution equipment, standby and emergency power sources, and other electrical equipment found in wastewater collection and treatment facilities. Works with primary and secondary switch gears. Performs preventative maintenance on electrical equipment, maintains accurate and complete work records; troubleshoots problems as necessary. In addition, may perform a variety of general maintenance work of the plant and pumping stations; maintains a safe and clean work environment. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Required to be trained for work in confined spaces.
