Electrician - SIGN ON BONUS

MISSION / SUMMARY: The position oftheelectrician is to provide skilled trade expertise along with multi-craft work experience to the Board Mill. Graphic Packaging is now offering the following incentives: Hourly wages up to $39.37, $7000 sign on bonus, $5000 relocation package (50 miles from location), and 5 days unpaid continuous paid time off in first year. EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE: • Must have high school diploma or equivalent. • Journeyman status or greater in an electrical trade preferred. DESIRED SKILLS: • Basic PLC knowledge: Allen Bradley • Ability to read schematics • Experience with a maximum of 4160 volt equipment • Knowledge of pneumatic valves • Instrumentation's: including differential, pressure, and flow transmitters • Troubleshooting skills desired • Knowledge of hydraulics a plus • Multi-craft willingness • Strong oral and written communication skills • Leadership skills • Ability and desire to work in team environment SCHEDULE DEMANDS: • Per CBA: ability to work multi schedules • Day shift • Unique 4 crew Dupont Schedule (allows 14 days off per month) • Must be able to work flexible and on-call scheduling. • Must be able to work rotating weekends. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Standing for extended periods. • Awkward and/or repetitive movements. • Moving or lifting of equipment, materials, and tools up to 50 lbs repeatedly for an 8 hr. shift. • Climbing extension ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or movement within confined areas. • Work in buildings and areas of fluctuating temperature and weather. • Job requires exposure to weather, dirt, grease, fumes and heat. Service Electrician

Scope of Work: The Service Technician performs service installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the residential, commercial, and industrial electrical industry. Responsible for performing electrical service tasks and projects with limited supervision, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. This role involves interpreting electrical construction drawings, terminating cables, installing and troubleshooting control wiring, and maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles. The technician will work closely with supervisors and crew members to meet project objectives and deadlines. Responsibilities:1. Safety and Work Habits: • Demonstrate safe work habits while performing all electrical service tasks/projects. • Perform work at various heights and in restrictive/tight areas. • Dig trenches using hand tools or equipment. 2. Technical Skills: • Read and accurately interpret electrical construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic diagrams. • Terminate cables, install, and troubleshoot control wiring. • Accurately bend and install all types of conduit. • Possess knowledge of wire pulls, concrete, masonry, metals, and wood construction methods. • Perform terminations/splicing of high voltage and fiber optic cables. • Use electrical formulas for accurate calculations. 3. Project Management: • Plan, schedule, and organize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines. • Coordinate activities with assigned crew to meet project objectives. • Assign field employees to project tasks based on individual ability and experience. • Monitor materials, tools, and equipment for accurate ordering or scheduling. 4. Documentation and Communication: • Utilize and maintain accurate project documentation (e.g., time sheets, progress reports, daily logs). • Keep customers/clients informed regarding the status of work progress. • Report end-of-day progress to the service department dispatcher. • Complete timely follow-up with pending projects. 5. Maintenance and Organization: • Maintain proper care of tools, equipment, and vehicle. • Organize materials and tools to maintain a clean and neat work area. • Maintain material inventory on vehicle to adequately serve customers/clients. • Ensure proper appearance and maintenance of vehicle (inside and outside). 6. Interpersonal Skills: • Cultivate a cooperative working relationship with managers, supervisors, fellow employees, and customers/clients. • Check with customers/clients prior to and at the end of the project. Minimum Requirements: • License Requirement: Only in states and locales where required. Must have valid vehicle operator’s license and be deemed insurable by the Company’s insurance carrier. • Education: High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience. • Experience: Experienced position, less than 6 years of electrical experience required. • Maintains a valid driver’s license and is deemed insurable by the company’s insurance carrier. • Holds a Journeyperson license in states and locales where required. • Understands and complies with all NEC, state, and local codes.

Machine Repair/Electrical Technician 3rd Shift

States considered: Michigan Machine Repair/Electrician (Dual Trade Technician) Job Description Position Summary: This is a 3rd Shift Position The Machine Repair/Electrician (Dual Trade Technician) is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving the company's formulation, filling, packaging, utility, facility, and electrical equipment and systems. This role combines mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, improvements, and modifications on production, utility, facility, and electrical equipment (including fillers, robots, cartoners, case packers, pumps, air compressors, boilers, motors, controls, fire alarms, and more). • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain both mechanical and electrical distribution systems and process equipment. • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings/blueprints for equipment installation and repair. • Operate precision measuring devices, machinist’s shop tools, and power hand tools. • Provide training regarding maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. • Serve as a maintenance advisor for equipment design, documentation, problem-solving, and project scope. • Monitor and ensure proper operation of fire alarms and emergency electrical systems. • Maintain accurate service and repair records using CMMS system. • Research and requisition materials, supplies, and equipment parts. • Respond to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service. • Train and direct the work of other staff as needed. • Ensure compliance with safety, company procedures, and applicable codes and regulations (SOPs, GMPs, GLPs, PSM, National Electrical Code, etc.). • Assist and serve as backup to other Maintenance employees. Education and Experience • High school diploma supplemented by completion of a union, private, military, or trade school apprenticeship program in a relevant field. • Associate Degree in Applied Science in Electricity, Electronics, or related field preferred. • Journeyman Certificate/license with 3–5 years experience in a manufacturing environment or Technical/Vocational School diploma with 5–8 years of related work experience (machine repair, machinist, electrician) preferred. • Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain Fork Lift license. • Proficient in relevant technical areas, including GMP manufacturing processes, mechanical and electrical equipment, and facilities. Physical Requirements • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs. unassisted. • Regular bending, twisting, reaching, climbing ladders, kneeling, and use of powered lifts. • Ability to work in tight spaces and varying temperatures for extended periods. • Frequent repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers. • Must not have a known allergy to Penicillin or Cephalosporin. • Ability to work scheduled 40 hours and overtime as needed. • Travel between campuses as work orders arise.
