Industrial Maintenance | 1st Shift Job Description: • Looking for on industrial maintenance electrician • This position will be 70% electrical, 30% mechanical and some building maintenance • Mechanical repairs on coiler lines, coating rooms, ovens, incinerators, slitter lines, upenders (take the steel coils and flip them to their side), conveyor lines, shrink wrap machines • Mechanical repairs on pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors, barring, bushings, cylinders, valves, conveyors • Electrical troubleshooting up to 480v, relays, control panels, motors, faults • Will be responsible for basic machining; will use Bridgeport Mills and Lathes • Will be doing any building maintenance as well; painting, plumbing, etc. • MIG and Stick welding on mild/cold rolled steel • Will perform machine installs and installation • Reading of blueprints • Troubleshooting, debugging, Preventative Maintenance, PM's on the equipment • General shop clean up Shift/Pay/Additional Information: • Direct Hire - Union Environment • 1st Shift: Monday to Friday 7a to 3p. Should expect 40-45hrs a week. OT as needed • Pay: 33.44/hr. • Yearly pay increases due to the union • Weekly pay • $500 sign on bonus - given after completing 90 days • Small shop will work with 25 total employees • Small maintenance dept. will work with 5 other technicians • Benefits start after they have 90 days probationary with them • UMR is who they use for benefits • PTO POLICY - SEE BELOW • 12 paid holidays (do not get qualify for them until 90 days of working there) • Uniforms and boot allowance • Pension plan • Free benefits for employees claiming themselves only.
