Responsibilities • Manufacture quality blow molding machinery, auxiliary equipment, and sub-assemblies using various tools and equipment. • Maintain compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards. • Build and manufacture items according to drawings and bills of material, meeting established production quality and quantity standards. • Perform maintenance and repair of building equipment as assigned, including preventative maintenance. • Operate power equipment and material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes). • Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems and report material shortages. • Develop specifications from general descriptions and create sketches of parts or products to be manufactured. • Submit daily time accounting, payroll information, and other required paperwork. • Assist with employee training and support other departments as needed. Essential Skills • 4+ years of Electrical experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing type setting. • Skilled in machine startup, checkout, and troubleshooting. • Proficient in wiring sub-assemblies, machine assemblies. • Ability to read and apply electrical schematics. • Ability to work with metric and standard inch systems. • Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics (fittings, fasteners). • Must have personal hand tools.
