Job Summary Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Primary duties of this position consist of installing components and wiring of low and medium voltage switchgear according to electrical drawings, diagrams and specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment. • Interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams and technical documents to plan wiring layouts. • Measure, cut, and install wires using hand tools and measuring instruments. • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components, ensuring proper electrical connections. • Conduct tests on wiring to ensure proper functionality and troubleshooting any issues that arise during installation. • Inspect, clean and repair as needed electrical systems, equipment, and components to prepare for installation. • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards. • All other duties assigned. METRICS Wire Technicians are expected to maintain assigned schedules for project completions set forth by operations manager, department supervisor and customers. Ensure work area remains tidy. Quality of work, accuracy and appearance to CBS standard is required. Maintains records of all work performed including images of initial product or requirement received and throughout the project.
