See More Details >>About the position Responsibilities • Assess and plan compliance with regulatory requirements for the application of avionics and flight control systems. • Assist with generation of certification plans and compliance checklists. • Assist with determining appropriate designee oversight. • Create wiring diagrams, wire routing drawings and installation drawings. • Create parts lists and master drawing lists for use in FAA approved STC data packages. • Create component and system test plans/reports to support regulatory compliance. • Participate in the execution of system tests to support regulatory compliance. • Create analyses to support regulatory compliance. • Assist in the preparation of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness. • Review installation drawings/documents and reports/analyses for completeness and accuracy. • Assist with managing the certification and compliance aspects of the projects. • Assist customer support with technical responses to questions and issues related to STC installations. Requirements • A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering degree. • 5-8 years of experience in a related field. • Experience working closely with customers to solve challenges with their aircraft and systems. • Working knowledge of quality systems and compliance in a regulated industry. • Aviation industry experience and familiarity with FAA certification preferred. • Experience with Solidworks. • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office. • Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% to support projects.
