The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within our facility. Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems: Perform electrical installations, including wiring, conduit, electrical panels, and other related systems. • Troubleshoot electrical issues: Diagnose and repair electrical problems with machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure minimal downtime. • Preventive maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery to identify potential issues before they cause disruptions. • Equipment installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment, ensuring that all electrical systems are safely and properly connected. • Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes, as well as company safety standards. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks. • Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with other maintenance team members, engineers, and production staff to support the overall operation of the facility. • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures. Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred. • Licensing: Valid electrician's license or certification as required by state or local regulations. • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and control systems. • Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and around machinery. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with automation systems and PLC programming. • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles. • Experience with energy management and efficiency improvement initiatives.
