Industrial Maintenance Electrician $31-38/hr Job Description This candidate will be tasked with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components of various machinery throughout the plant. They will be troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC motor control systems, as well as 240/480V 3 phase motor wiring. Ability to wire up both single phase and 3 phase motors is required. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems throughout the plant. • Diagnose electrical shorts and make repairs. • Use multimeters to analyze and solve problems. • Diagnose electrical problems by attaching a computer to PLC and reading ladder logic to troubleshoot I/O. • Install wiring according to electrical code and hook up new equipment, lighting, etc. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, calibrate, and repair electronic weight scales. • Identify problem areas and develop/install modifications to improve efficiency. • Perform minor fabricating which may require some welding. • Order parts and maintain documentation on electrical systems. • Install wiring to connect components to electric power sources. • Have working knowledge of AC/DC drives for motors on conveyors, belts, pumps, and other equipment. Shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday), 2nd shift (2:00pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday), and 3rd shift (10:30pm-6:30am Monday-Friday). There is a focus on staffing the 3rd shift, with less experienced hires starting there. Each week includes 5 hours of built-in overtime and one day off during the week, with varying days off and every other weekend off. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Denison, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $80000.00/yr. -Weekly pay -Benefits start on day 1 -1st year, PTO accrues 1.5 hours per week -Shift differentials (1/hr for 3rd, .50/hr for 2nd) -Very strong progression plan for pay.
