1st Shift Electrical Technicians Paying up to $40/hr! Job Description As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing electrical components within equipment enclosures. You will be responsible for assisting with the assembly, installation, wiring, and testing of electrical equipment. Responsibilities • Install and connect electrical wiring and equipment as per code and job specifications. • Bend conduit, pull wire, and hang electrical components. • Assist with installing light fixtures and switches. • Maintain a good working knowledge of hand tools. • Communicate effectively and demonstrate good listening skills. • Maintain cleanliness in the work area. • Adhere to safety standards and follow local, state, and federal regulations. • Perform any additional tasks that may arise. Essential Skills • Basic knowledge of electrical materials, such as C-boxes, conduit, fittings, wire size, and fasteners. • Experience with electrical assembly, repair, hand tools, wiring, electronics, installation, and blueprint reading. • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and symbols. • Basic safety knowledge and ability to read a tape measure. • Knowledge of electrical theory and ability to terminate devices correctly. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Level 1: Basic knowledge of electrical materials and ability to bend conduit (3/4” and 1/2”). • Level 2: Knowledge of electrical theory, basic applied trade math, and ability to bend conduit (1/2” to 1”). • Level 3: Advanced electrical theory knowledge, NEC Electrical code knowledge, and ability to bend conduit (1/2” to 1-1/4”). • Level 4: Expert knowledge of electrical theory, electrical code, and installation, ability to interpret blueprint drawings, and bend conduit (1/2” to 4”).
