Lead Electrician

What you’ll bring: • State of Oklahoma Unlimited Electrical Contractor License • Valid Driver's License • Language Skills: • Able to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. • Able to speak effectively in group settings. • Mathematical Skills: • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Able to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. • Reasoning Ability: • Able to apply common sense understanding in a variety of situations to assure customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers. • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. • Computer Skills: • Typing proficiency required. • Knowledge of how to access and use the internet and have a good working knowledge of data entry software, spreadsheet software, and/or word processing software. Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman Electrician About the Role At Buxton Electric, we take pride in doing things the right way. We’re looking for a licensed Journeyman Electrician who knows their craft, takes safety seriously, and is ready to lead apprentices in the field. You’ll handle everything from installing raceways and switchgear to reading blueprints and making sure the work is done to spec. Electrical Journeyman - Temp to Hire - Commercial Build Outs and Service! up to 50 miles away! About This Position: As an electrician for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial work. Our average work week is Monday – Friday, 07:00-3:30p, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As an electrician, you may be tasked with the following: Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. Layout and install electrical systems including conduit, wiring, cable tray, strut, pumps and motors, breakers, gear, and various other electrical components to code or spec. Operate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical benders, threaders, wire pullers, power drill, hyd. strippers, hyd. punch, hand tools, knockout set and other related field tools. Test, Diagnose, and repair electrical systems, components and equipment with appropriate testing equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and operation. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach. Work at least 40 hours per week, and overtime as required. Ability to obtain an apprentice or journeyman’s license with state licensing board. Ability to work well with others.
