Summary: Installation & removal of electrical systems. Troubleshoot and repair equipment throughout the facility. Perform electrical preventative maintenance in accordance with the plant preventative maintenance program. Primary Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: • Troubleshoot and repair electrical sytems on equipment & within the facility. • Use equipment manufacturer's operating and parts manuals to diagnose and make repairs, including selection of replacement parts. • Determine proper wire & conduit sizes for new equipment & relocations per the NEC. • Oversee and manage contractors, ensure that they follow all HSE policies. • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems, motors, compressors & chilled water systems in accordance with the plant preventative maintenance program. • Assist the Maintenance Manager in evaluating and determining permanent solutions to problem areas. • Support the installation of new and used equipment. • Capable of designing & laying out complex machine layouts of equipment power runs originating from bus ducts and/or feeder panels. • Capable of safely performing energized electrical work on systems up to 600 vac, including installation of bus plugs or circuit breaker installations. • Work with team members on large projects when requested by the Maintenance Manager. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment. • Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor. Knowledge and Skill Requirement: This position should possess the following skills/knowledge: • Preferred Oklahoma Journeyman/Contractor license or equivielent certifications • Five (5) years electrical experience in an industrial environment. • Experience in set up of new and used equipment. • Capable of supervising outside contractors. • Must be knowledgeable of National Electric Code. Environmental / Atmospheric Conditions: • Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas.
