Job Description: As an Unlimited Electrical Journeyman, you will play a key role in interpreting and modifying electrical system designs while leading a team to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. Your expertise in electrical prints and systems design will help guide our work in commercial, industrial, and occasional residential sectors. You’ll work closely with foremen and superintendents, providing leadership and direction to accomplish project goals safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: • Interpret and Modify Electrical Prints: Use your expertise to read, interpret, and contribute to the design of electrical systems for various commercial, industrial, and residential projects. • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a crew, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, on budget, and to code. Collaborate with foremen and superintendents to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines. • Project Coordination: Help manage resources, material requirements, and scheduling, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. • Worksite Safety: Maintain a focus on safety procedures to protect yourself and your team. Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and safety protocols at all times. • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues that arise on the job site, offering effective solutions that meet project needs. • Installation: Design and installation of electrical systems from start to finish. Must take pride in your ability to layout and run conduit as well as the occasional romex. Qualifications: • Journeyman Electrical License (Unlimited) • 3+ years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work (some residential and multi-family experience preferred). • Proven ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings. • Leadership and team management skills; experience supervising and guiding apprentices and other electricians. • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • OSHA or other relevant safety certifications a plus. • Hand tools and basic power tools.
