Responsibilities • Provide the necessary technical assistance to complete all electrical maintenance jobs, installations, controls, and PLC's. • Perform other equipment maintenance as needed. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical related problems on Case & Label machines. • Analyze and diagnose electrical control circuits and motor power circuits. • Stay current on electrical codes and OSHA regulations. • Adjust or repair equipment as needed for efficient operation. • Ensure safety rules and regulations are being followed. • Complete preventative maintenance and PM surveys as scheduled. • Complete line changeovers and shift start-ups in a timely manner. • Fabricate replacement parts if necessary. Qualifications • 2-4 year certificate from college/ technical school. Equivalent work experience in a food processing environment will be considered. • 5-7 years experience in industrial electrical. • Electrical and mechanical repair and trouble shooting skills. • Able to use laptop computer for PLC diagnostics. • Good attention to detail and accuracy. • Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally with management and with fellow employees.
