Core Duties: • Installation: Installing electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and related equipment. • Maintenance: Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, including identifying faulty wiring, short circuits, and other issues. • Repair: Replacing or repairing wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools. • Testing: Using testing devices to verify the safety and functionality of electrical systems and components. • Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to relevant safety regulations and electrical codes. • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used. • Collaboration: Working with other technicians, engineers, and project managers on projects. • Interpretation: Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
