Residential Electrician

Who We Want on Our Team: Chesapeake Electric seeks ROCK STAR Electrical Service Technicians with unlimited earning potential. Service Technicians serve as the company's frontline ambassadors, bringing their specialized expertise and knowledge to serve our customers. The ideal candidate should be able to independently operate their own service vehicle within 30 days. This includes proficiency in residential, troubleshooting, estimating, Material procurement, sales, customer experience and strong electrical knowledge. What You’ll Be Doing: • Complete all general electrical in-home, service calls. • Establish customer trust and rapport to provide the best options regarding the right products and services. • Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals. • Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations. What You’ll Need to Be Successful Day One: • A deep desire to deliver the best products and services to our customers. • Sales and estimating experience with a hunger to control your earning potential. • At least 3+ years of progressive experience and at least 1 year in residential electrical • Experience leading your own jobs or service calls. • Alignment with Chesapeake Electric’s core values (LIGHT) • Journeyman License is preferred and required for sign-on bonus qualifications. • High school diploma or equivalent • Able to successfully pass a drug screening and background check. • A valid driver’s license and must be insurable.
