Electrician Pay: $30/hour Location: Lancaster, PA Job Type: Full time Job Description Commercial electrician with journeyman level experience. Projects include retirement facilities, doctor offices, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, and car dealerships. High voltage installs and conduit bending is a must have skill. • Contractors will be required to work a 40-hour work week, with potential for overtime. You must bring your own tools of the trade, as well as provide your own PPE. * Responsibilities • Install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes. • Perform installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials. • Use conduit bending and pipe threading equipment effectively. • Conduct rough-ins and finishes for new construction and plant maintenance projects. Electrician Journeyman

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in high and low voltage systems. We do not do residential work. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints, and the capability to work with various hand and power tools. While working independently or as part of a team, the Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Essential Job Functions: · Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly, hazardous, or unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes. · Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and floors. · Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit. · Pulls wiring through conduit. · Splices wire and connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment. · Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit. · Installs control and distribution apparatus. · Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads. · Traces out short circuits in wiring. · Tests continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments (voltmeter, ohmmeter, continuity buzzer). · Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and analyzes need for adjustments, relocation or replacement. · Observes jobsite and reports or corrects and unsafe working conditions. · Repairs faulty equipment or systems. · Provides and operates hand tools on jobsite. · Safely operates power tools. · Provides daily reports as required. · Performs other duties as assigned.
