This position will be located at Lexington Park MD supporting a NAVAIR project onboard NAS Patuxent River in support of PMA-268. The Unmanned Carrier Aviation program office (PMA-268) is responsible for the MQ-25 Stingray unmanned air system and the Unmanned Carrier Aviation Mission Control System (UMCS). The Stingray will be the Navy's first operational, carrier-based unmanned aircraft and will provide a critical aerial refueling capability to the carrier air wing. Role and Responsibilities: • Properly account for, store, issue, inventory, destroy (if necessary), and safeguard all COMSEC material provided to them. • Create and retain the required accounting documentation. • Ensure users have the proper clearance and are authorized to access COMSEC material. • Issue COMSEC material on local custody forms. • Provide written guidance concerning handling, accountability, and disposition of COMSEC material. • Conduct training to ensure that all personnel handling COMSEC material adhere to COMSEC procedures. • Incorporate emergency action and/or emergency destruction procedures for COMSEC material. • Expert on handling Data transfer devices for keying of all Cryptographic equipment.
