Description: Commercial Electricians are responsible for repairing, connecting, installing and maintaining electrical equipment, cables and wiring. They must follow blueprints in determining the location of the equipment and wiring to ensure that building and safety codes are followed. They may install or service streetlights, electrical control systems or intercom systems and connect wires to transformers, circuit breakers or other types of components. Ability to install pipe using hand, cyclone or hydraulic benders and wire pulling with correct circuitry, high voltage and low voltage or use of a cable tugger are also common tasks. Qualification • 7+ years of experience in residential electrical service. • Experience in leading a team • An associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school is advantageous but not mandatory. • Valid and current driver's license with an insurable driving record to facilitate the use of a company vehicle. • A journeyman's or Master's Certification is a plus! • Familiarity with local and state residential electrical codes.
