Industrial Electrician II/ III

To maintain electrical equipment at Power Plants, Substations, Pump Stations, Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Wells, Solar Arrays, and other facilities. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with on-call requirements. JOB REQUIREMENTS: For placement at Industrial Electrician II: Hiring range $27.60/hr. or higher depending upon experience and qualifications. Total of three (3) to five (5) years related electrical experience. Must have a thorough working knowledge of electricity and electronics or equivalent electrical and electronics training. Must be familiar with the NEC, NESC, NETA, and NFPA 70 E standards. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Must have a good working knowledge of basic electricity and electronics or equivalent electrical and electronics training. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics. Must know how to use electrical tools such as digital multimeters, and power supplies. Must be available as needed to provide technical support during electrical outages, generator startups, and weather-related emergencies. Must be able to work from heights such as ladders, towers, and other structures. Regular, reliable attendance is a requirement of this job. Must be familiar with the NESC and standards. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be part of an on-call rotation. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess certification in electrical technology, or have three years of related electrical experience. For placement at Industrial Electrician III: Hiring range $30.24/hr or higher depending upon experience and qualifications. In addition to the requirements for Industrial Electrician II; Total of five(5) to seven (7) years related electrical experience. Must have a thorough knowledge of the Installation, testing, and calibration of the electrical equipment and systems such as motors, pumps, VFDs, circuit breakers, transformers, metering, and transducers at power plants, substations, and other locations. Must be able to test and calibrate electrical equipment, protective relaying, metering, and transducers at the power plants and substations. Must be able to Install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, and SCADA systems. Must be able to Install and troubleshoot electrical systems and interfaces. Candidates with either a Journeyman or Master Electrician's license preferred, but not required.Education:Employment Type: CONTRACTOR
