For placement at Industrial Electrician I: HIRING RANGE: $25.19/hr. or higher depending upon experience and qualifications) JOB OBJECTIVE: Ensure the maintenance and functionality of electrical equipment across Power Plants, Substations, Wells, Pump Stations, Solar Arrays, Wastewater Treatment Facilities, and other Easton Utilities and Town of Easton facilities. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with on-call responsibilities. Fully in-person, not remote. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Proficient in Microsoft Office products. • Ability to work under general supervision on assigned tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical equipment. • Adhere strictly to instructions, safety protocols, and established procedures while performing all tasks. • Provide support during electrical outages, generator startups, and emergency situations, including adverse weather conditions. • Work safely at heights on ladders, towers, lifts, and similar structures. • Maintain a high standard of reliability, punctuality, and job attendance. • Maintain a valid driver’s license. • Must be part of an on-call rotation. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to kneel, squat, climb, sit, stand, lift, pull, and carry equipment. • Capable of performing in noisy environments and extreme weather conditions, including exposure to engine room noise and heat. • Must always wear proper PPE. For placement at Industrial Electrician II: HIRING RANGE: $30.23/hr. or higher depending upon experience and qualifications) ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Thorough working knowledge of electricity and electronics, or equivalent electrical and electronics training. • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics. • Experience troubleshooting complex motor controls, automation controls, thermal couples, and VFDs. • Knowledge of electrical tools, such as digital multimeters and power supplies. • Available to provide technical support during electrical outages, generator startups, and weather-related emergencies. • Familiar with the NEC, NETA, NFPA 70 B and NFPA 70 E standards. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Certification in electrical technology, journeyman electrical license, or at least four years of related electrical experience. For placement at Industrial Electrician III: HIRING RANGE: $33.12/hr. or higher depending upon experience and qualifications) ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS • In-depth understanding of the installation, testing, and calibration of electrical equipment and systems, such as motors, pumps, VFDs, circuit breakers, transformers, metering, and transducers at power plants, substations, and other Easton Utilities locations. • Knowledge to test and calibrate electrical equipment, protective relaying, metering, and transducers at the power plants and substations. • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, and SCADA systems. • Knowledge of substation maintenance to install, calibrate, maintain, and evaluate systems and equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, switches, capacitors, regulators, battery banks and other related equipment. • Experienced perform switching, grounding, and clearing of substation equipment. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Degree in electrical technology, master electrical license, or at least seven years of related electrical experience.

Industrial Electrician II/ III

To maintain electrical equipment at Power Plants, Substations, Pump Stations, Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Wells, Solar Arrays, and other facilities. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with on-call requirements. JOB REQUIREMENTS: For placement at Industrial Electrician II: Hiring range $27.60/hr. or higher depending upon experience and qualifications. Total of three (3) to five (5) years related electrical experience. Must have a thorough working knowledge of electricity and electronics or equivalent electrical and electronics training. Must be familiar with the NEC, NESC, NETA, and NFPA 70 E standards. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Must have a good working knowledge of basic electricity and electronics or equivalent electrical and electronics training. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics. Must know how to use electrical tools such as digital multimeters, and power supplies. Must be available as needed to provide technical support during electrical outages, generator startups, and weather-related emergencies. Must be able to work from heights such as ladders, towers, and other structures. Regular, reliable attendance is a requirement of this job. Must be familiar with the NESC and standards. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be part of an on-call rotation. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess certification in electrical technology, or have three years of related electrical experience. For placement at Industrial Electrician III: Hiring range $30.24/hr or higher depending upon experience and qualifications. In addition to the requirements for Industrial Electrician II; Total of five(5) to seven (7) years related electrical experience. Must have a thorough knowledge of the Installation, testing, and calibration of the electrical equipment and systems such as motors, pumps, VFDs, circuit breakers, transformers, metering, and transducers at power plants, substations, and other locations. Must be able to test and calibrate electrical equipment, protective relaying, metering, and transducers at the power plants and substations. Must be able to Install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, and SCADA systems. Must be able to Install and troubleshoot electrical systems and interfaces.
