They design, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems, while also ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / Work closely with Retech equipment electrical engineers to identify and implement upgrades and prototype designs for production and RD furnaces. / Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues with installed equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production. / Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other team members to integrate electrical and mechanical systems. / Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, ensuring they operate reliably and safely. / Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and effectively manage outage risks / Create and maintain sustainable documentation for use by engineering and maintenance teams / Support plant upgrades to the electrical system / Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, quality, R&D) to resolve technical issues and implement best practices. / Support new product development and scaling up pilot processes to full production. / Assist in the training and developing plant personnel on electrical systems and safety procedures. / Ensure environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations compliance. / The ability to understand where the electrical and mechanical systems interact and provide solutions for issues on production furnaces.
