Job Summary: Candidate would be a member of the CUBRC Aerosciences group involved with high-speed wind tunnel testing. Primary responsibilities include electrical hook-up and checkout testing of low-voltage model and tunnel instrumentation. Minimum Qualifications: · High school diploma or GED · 2 years’ related experience or equivalent education · Basic knowledge of electrical systems and measuring/diagnostic tools · Strong organizational skills · Able to work independently from drawings and specifications with supervision as well as in a team environment · Willing to work extended hours · Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to meet eligibility requirements to obtain a government security clearance Preferred Qualifications: · Formal technical training above a high school level · High-voltage experience and training · Basic hand-tool and mechanic skills Special Requirements: Must be able to obtain and remain eligible for a US Department of Defense security clearance during the course of employment Why CUBRC • 401(k) – No Waiting Period. 100% Vested on date of hire. • 3% company contribution in the first year of employment, company contribution increases over time.
