Basic Responsibilities • Maintain and replace motor bearings. • Maintain control panels, switches and wiring. • Maintain, inspects and repair all breakers. • Inspect transformers. • Perform general electrical maintenance on assigned area. • Operate overhead crane and/or fork truck to move electrical supplies or equipment. • Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. • Perform electromechanical rebuilds of plant production equipment. • Assist in installation of new equipment and relocation of existing equipment. • Maintain a safe and clean work area. Sources of Supervision • Generally works independently and not closely supervised. • Position reports to Maintenance Supervisor. Tools and Equipment • All types of electrical repair tools, wrenches, sledges, volt meters, rope and rope blocks, soldering torches, jacks, armature testing equipment, magnetos, pliers, screw drivers, and miscellaneous hand tools. Skills • Ability to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. • Tac-welding skills • Analytical ability Experience • Previous electrical experience in industrial/manufacturing environment. Education/Training • Must have a two (2) year post high school education. • Successfully receive a passing score on the Ramsey RR47-A test or equivalent and applicable test stand. Electrical Engineer

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Maintenance Department Position Overview: Effective deployment of capital dollars and resources targeted at the implementation of equipment improvement and sustainability strategy projects. Project management of engineering and related initiatives Specific Responsibilities: • Develop capital investment strategies, programs, and projects • Insures compliance with plant and federal safety standards • Engineering processes, policies, and procedures • Identification and implementation of improvements efforts • Champions the sharing and leveraging of initiatives, processes and accomplishments within plant • Identifies and champions improvement and functional excellence initiatives • Plans and establishes engineering schedules and ensures performance to schedule • Set engineering strategies to support business objectives • Development and management of engineering project portfolio • Project planning, management and control • Monitoring and control of capital spending • Project plan development including scope, schedule, budget estimate, and risk identification • Accountable for all Plant power distributions • Assist Maintenance on electrical/combustion trouble shooting • Assist in training maintenance electricians • Coordinate departmental systems upgrades. • Ability to troubleshoot AC and DC Circuits. Education and Experience: • BS degree in Engineering or Business (engineering preferred) • Experience in steel-related or industrial environment Physical and Other Requirements: • Ability to safely move around in a heavy industrial plant environment for up to 12 hours per day • Lifting to 50 pounds on an occasional basis • Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours as required, and maintain job performance standards Universal Stainless is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
