City of Bradford is seeking an experienced electrician for a full time position. Must possess a valid current driver's license. Candidates with proficient electrical skills, mechanical skills and experience will be considered. Normal work hours 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. Must be available for on call for after work hours and some weekends. Applicants need competent knowledge of the methods, materials and tools used in electrical distribution system maintenance work. Primary Function -The primary function of the Electrician is to work closely with Production Department to improve our processes. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, support equipment and utilities in order to keep machines operating efficiently. This includes machines and systems involved with Blow Molding. Responsibilities: SAFETY • Provide a safe working environment for all employees to ensure an acceptable incident rate. • Make use of the STOP safety program. • Participate in the shift Safety Sub-Committee. • Always use Lock Out / Tag Out when required & observe Cardinal Rule at all times. • Use NFPA 70e Arc Flash PPE as required. PLANT QUALITY • Ensure plant is maintained at a high standard of housekeeping & 5S is fully sustained. • Assist to ensure that CTF characteristics are meeting process capability goals. • Participate in teamwork to accomplish a satisfactory score on the Corporate MS & GMP audits. • Ensure GMP’s are followed at all times. • Maintain plant security. • Ensure return sales and warranty costs do not exceed targeted % of sales. • Initiating corrective/preventive and continuous improvement opportunities through defined/document channels, and actively participate in developing, implementing, and verifying corrective/improvement actions.
