Write functional specifications for various machine control hardware and software. • Identify and order parts and materials required for job completion. • Set-up, support, and program the application of robotics in the operations group. • Analyze, interpret, and develop wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, etc. • Use a variety of test instruments such as ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc. • Provide instruction and training to peers and various disciplines within the organization. • Apply experience and judgment for the planning and accomplishment of goals / assignments. • Investigate and make recommendations related to electrical controls and machine functions for continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts. • Work with various disciplines within the organization and production personnel / supervisors to accomplish identified goals and objectives. • Perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment as required. • Maintain records and documentation for machine / equipment development and history. • Communicate verbally and through written reports, spreadsheets, charts, etc. required information, as required. • Perform any other duties, related in nature, which may be assigned.
