Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various electrical environments, including construction sites, and will be proficient in both high voltage and low voltage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics and the ability to utilize various tools effectively. The Electrician will play a crucial role in building, installing, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality. Duties - Read and interpret electrical schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. - Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. - Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. - Conduct tests using ammeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems. - Work on construction sites to assist in the installation of electrical components during building projects. - Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. - Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations. - Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion. Qualifications - Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a construction setting. - Strong knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems. - Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, and ohmmeters. - Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately. - Experience with frame carpentry is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. - Valid electrician's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
