GWBI is looking to hire an Electrician initial wiring and startup of overhead cranes. Key Responsibilities • Bend and install conduit. (Rigid, EMT, Etc.) • Assemble wire harnesses from blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. • Assemble electrical panels, radios and junction boxes. • Terminate wires for in house startup and testing. • Troubleshoot machinery upon startup to ensure all components are functioning properly. • Document all materials used to ensure inventory can be kept in good standing. Builds and maintains employer confidence by maintaining good response time, informing employer of problems and completing the job in a timely manner. • Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance and organization in all areas. • Plans and performs jobs of installing and maintaining a variety of electrical equipment. • Diagnoses electrical troubles and works from wiring diagrams • Works independently, provides direction to less-experienced electricians and will train new electricians. Competencies • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. • Excellent communication skills • Strong customer service orientation. • Understanding of intrinsically safe circuitry. • Ability to work independently. • Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills while working under pressure. • Ability to work at heights. Qualification • Highschool diploma or equivalent • Associate's degree or certifications a plus • three plus years’ experience a plus • Strong background in AC and DC motor control systems. • Experience performing industrial wiring and cable routing • Ability to pass a Drug Screen • Ability to pass a physical • Ability to pass a background check • Current valid driver's license and safe driving record Physical Demands • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 100 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Electrical Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing maximum maintenance for the facility with a minimum of downtime due to maintenance problems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. This list is not all inclusive and may include other duties as necessary. • Plans, lays-out, constructs, modifies, repairs and/or installs new or existing electric and electronic equipment at an advance level. May include PLC's, PC's, and Data Collector's Sensor's or other electronic equipment. • Designs and modifies program coding for the PLC's data collectors, PC''s or other electronic equipment in order to control, track or identify discrepancies with production or industrial data transmission. • Configures, installs and supports cabling and communications linkages between electronic equipment and systems. Troubleshoots faulty operations, diagnoses problems, recommends corrective action and expedites repair of systems. • Plans and performs work requiring a thro9ugh knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and principles, wiring specifications, codes, properties or various materials and principles of operations and application of acceptable electronic and mechanic procedures. • Plans and performs mechanical work as needed. • Trains new personnel. Practices and teaches effective safety procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. DEVELOPMENTAL SKILLS In order to successfully perform this job, an individual must obtain certain skills, which will allow him/her to enhance the necessary work performance in relation to the essential duties and responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. • Experience in PLC, electronics and/or computer maintenance at an advanced level. • Knowledgeable of computer and/or applications programming. • Able to design and layout electrical circuitry and troubleshoot electrical/electronic components and systems. • Formal education in electronics may be used to offset electronic maintenance job experienc3e. • Passing score on a written and/or hands-on competency test. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED equivalence/must have four (4) plus years of maintenance experience and one (1) year electronic maintenance experience. Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong electrical and mechanical background. Ability to analyze all types of circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings as required to install, repair, adjust, calibrate, construct, modify, replace or service all types of mechanical and electronic devices and systems, including gauges, controls and regulators, power and distribti8ion control equipment, measuring, recording, processing and indicating devices.
