Your Role at PSFEI As an Electrical System Specialist, you will join a team of other specialists and engineers who apply their electrical systems expertise and problem-solving skills to provide clients with technical insight and services focused on power systems that are critical to the successful operation of their facilities. The recommendations and services you provide support mission-critical operations across the Commonwealth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Perform preventative maintenance and testing services of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment including switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, and cabling, in coordination client site maintenance personnel. • Troubleshoot electrical system issues, investigate faults, perform minor corrective repairs, and respond to emergency power interruptions and outages. • Assess client electrical systems and recommend services to improve reliability, compliance, and safety, and develop project scopes and objectives based on recommendations provided. • Plan and manage project activities, including scheduling, personnel coordination, material needs, electrical outages, and safe work procedures. • Prepare technical reports summarizing project activities, observations, actions taken, test results, and recommendations for follow-up. • Provide on-site training to client maintenance personnel in electrical safety, operations, and maintenance practices. • Offer off-site (remote) client technical support, including troubleshooting assistance, corrective action recommendations, and responses to technical inquiries through verbal and written communication.
