Facilities and Material Handler

Job Summary: Jewell Electric, Inc. is currently looking for a dedicated Facilities and Material Handler to join our team. As a Facilities and Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by hauling equipment and materials to jobsites. Responsibilities: - Safely operate and load forklifts, skid steer, and lifts. - Utilize the warehouse management system to track tools. - Perform heavy lifting and use mechanical knowledge to handle materials effectively. - Adhere to OSHA guidelines and safety protocols at all times. - Hauling Equipment to and from jobsites. - Taking material to and from jobsites. - Keeping the warehouse cleaned and organized. - Light mechanical maintenance on fleet. - Trailer loading and unloading. - Scheduling and tracking fleet maintenance and repairs. Experience: - Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is preferred. - Familiarity with operating and loading forklifts and other warehouse equipment. - Proficiency in using a warehouse management system to manage tool inventory. - Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate machinery safely. - Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to material handling. - Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues. - Experience running excavation equipment or willingness to learn. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Certification in operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality. - Valid Driver's License. - Proficient with technology or willingness to learn. Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities • Perform diesel or gaseous engine troubleshooting and repair to include but not limited to ignition components, injection systems, valve adjustments etc. • Perform load bank testing on generator(s) to ensure units are in the proper operating conditions and meet applicable code requirements. • Assist other technicians with large multi-person jobs, or troubleshooting complicated issues. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to give verbal/written reports of job status, repair recommendations, equipment/supplies needed.
