Design Engineer Neo Manufacturing is currently looking for a motivated and talented design engineer, willing to grow and advance with the company. This position is an entry level engineering job. In this position you are expected to be more “hands on”, than a typical engineering job, you will not be expected to sit behind a computer for 8 hours a day. You are expected to be available to go out into production and help problem solve. We are looking for an individual who willing to work closely with production and sales. In this position you will create prints for custom trailers. You will learn how to program some of the CNC equipment, that helps produce the trailers. This position will also be involved in creating new product lines and improving current designs. Neo Manufacturing: Neo Manufacturing is a family-owned business that was founded in 2011. Primary Responsibilities: • Review and create CAD models and drawing for new product lines. • Work with sales in creating specialized customer prints for custom trailers. • Program CNC equipment for custom trailers (No previous experience needed). • Work closely with production to help improve and problem solve current designs. • The ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment. • Work with Bill of Materials. • Performs other tasks or duties as assigned. Requirements: • BS Degree in an engineering field preferred, but will consider non-degreed candidate. • 1-3 years’ experience with SolidWorks. • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). • Willing to learn new software. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; will work closely with sales and production. • Ability to sit in front of a computer, for an extended period of time. • Ability to stand on the production floor, for an extended period of time. • Willing to grow and advance with the company. • Work in person. Preferred Skills: · Knowledge of weldments and simulation in SolidWorks. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Knowledge of the general build of a cargo trailer. • Knowledge of engineering processes. • Knowledge of CNC equipment. • Strong self-motivation.
