Mechanical Designer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for mechanical design, technical analysis, and resolution for our automation equipment. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with 3+ years mechanical equipment design experience with 3D modeling software. Duties and Responsibilities • Participating in product development through design engineering, 3D modeling, drawing creation, and component selection • Developing detailed design drawings and specifications for production parts using SolidWorks • Reviewing prints prepared by other engineers • Other duties as assigned Minimal Requirements • Design and design review – Demonstrates attention to detail • Must be a highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for engineering and can offer unique and complex engineering challenges that require persistence, original thinking, and a positive attitude • Technical skills – Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Solves technical issues independently with support from team. • Excellent communication skills and be capable of interacting with other engineers, shop technicians, sales, customers, and vendors The Sales Engineer is principally responsible for the sale of Paramount Tool products to provide innovative solutions to customer work requirements on Paramount machine tools. The position reports to the Sales Director on the development of prospective accounts and retention of current customers. Duties and Responsibilities • Building and fostering customer relationships • Promoting the sale of company products and providing technical sales support • Conferring with Applications Engineers to assess equipment needs • Developing, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements • Recommending improved materials or machinery to customers • Proactively visiting customer facilities for review of outstanding engineering and service-related problems, including strategic review of sales opportunities for up to, but not limited to, a minimum of 25 visits per week • Proactively visiting customer facilities in order to resolve difficult engineering issues • Report requirements: Submit Territory Planning and Sales reports weekly. Expense reports are to be submitted timely, per expense policy requirements. • Developing strategic and tactical plans in order to accomplish yearly sales goals • Partnering with engineering staff for demonstrations • Other duties as assigned Minimal Requirements • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university • Associate’s degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of B2B relevant sales • 2-5 years in B2B sales/business development • Recent experience in machine tool environments preferred

Mechanical Technician

9 Month Contract | Machine Builder | Holland, MI Responsibilities: • Consistently achieves high quality when working on Product assembly, modification, and/or system integration from documentation (prints, illustration, and schematics) • Consistently meets/exceeds routings, MPP’s, project budgets and delivery dates. Ability to understand and support corporate objects (OMQ) • Follow all defined process steps, document all in process checks, review work and check list for completeness before signing off. • Display workmanship that meets process demand (including company standard, Customer specification, and/or appropriate industrial standards). • Layout, setup and secure robots and associated equipment • Energize, manipulate/jog individual robot axis • Load, upgrade, backup company software • Define or teach simple robot path and program the robot for unattended operation. • Testing or functional verification of Products and/or Systems as defined (PDE EX testing, Engineer releases or Manufacturing Control plans) • Troubleshooting or debug of technical problems. • Repair, rework, or retrofit of product and equipment • Disassembly and preparation of company product and Systems for shipment. • Accurate and timely information entered in the Corporate Labor Tracking System (LTS).
