Key Responsibilities: • Conduct routine inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and manual assessments. • React promptly to breakdowns, performing repairs at roadside or within the depot as needed. • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to health and safety regulations and established operating procedures. • Maintain workshop tools and equipment in optimal condition and report any maintenance needs. • Assemble electrical wires and connections within buses and interchange parts and products effectively. • Demonstrate proficiency with both body and engine modules. Compliance: • Guarantee compliance with ITAR, state, federal, and OSHA requirements along with adherence to ISO procedures. • Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain legal compliance. Working Conditions: • This position requires occasional movement within the office and on the production floor, frequent reaching, and occasional standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. • Must be able to operate a computer, machinery, and buses effectively. • Occasional travel to customer and vendor sites may be necessary, including overnight stays. Qualifications: • A minimum of three years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in the automotive or commercial vehicle sector is required. • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in light and heavy-duty vehicles. • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment. • Possess a valid driver’s license; a CDL and ANSI certification are preferred.
