HVAC / Mechanical maintenance Arlington, TX

Industrial manufacturer needs personnel with facility HVAC/mechanical experience. 1st shift Monday & Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm & Saturday & Sunday 7:00 am to 7:30 pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned): • HVAC degree or equivalent experience • Appliance repairs including replacement or installation of major appliances. • Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance necessary to building. • Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and construction work in the basic building maintenance plumbing and mechanical trades. • Clears clogged drains, and replaces plumbing fixtures. • Cleans work area, tools, and equipment. • Proven experience as maintenance technician understanding building mechanical and plumbing components in an industrial facility. • Monthly PM work. Such as, Air handling units, filters, fans, pulleys, belts, dock heaters, etc. Experience Required: DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENT: Must have industry standard minimum amount of verifiable 6 years of industrial experience or an HVAC degree. Electro Mechanical Technician

• PRIMARY FUNCTION Under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electro-Mechanical Technician (EMT), supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes from mechanical, electrical, and plumbing for all production equipment and systems within the facility. The position is responsible for repairing and installing advanced production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer’s specifications. May mentor and provide support to less experienced mechanics. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes more complicated repairs or adjustments as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform preventative maintenance on more advanced/sophisticated production equipment. • Perform repairs on more advanced production equipment as needed. • Perform breakdown analysis. • Oversee or perform general housekeeping, as well as upgrade production lines with new/upgraded equipment/technology. • Direct activities of outside contractors working on assigned line. • Change line for package changeovers. • Enforce GMP, safety, and audit standards. • Work independently under limited supervision (self-management) • Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed. • Respond effectively to all emergencies. • Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. • Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. • Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs. • Maintains a clean and safe work environment and maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. • Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed, using work order system. • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • n/a • QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. What You'll Bring: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • ENGINEERING • * Develop piping arrangements and conduct necessary stress and strain analysis of pipeline facilities including traps, regulator stations, measurement stations, and main-line block valve sites. • Ability to independently conduct line sizing calculations, pipe support load analysis, and nozzle load stress (static and dynamic) evaluations in accordance with applicable codes and standards. • Specialist in code interpretation of Gathering, Transmission, and Distribution systems • Produce equipment specifications based on project specific design constraints for rotating and fixed equipment, such as: • * Pressure Vessels, Drums and Tanks • Filters, Mixers, Strainers • Separators • Pumps • Compressors • Turbines • Knowledge of standard manufacturing methods (machining, grinding, welding etc.) • Knowledge of materials engineering, metallurgy or related. • Led in the development of equipment and piping layouts for Compressor Stations, Pump Station, Tank Terminals, and Truck Loading Facilities. • Independent review of project PPFDs and P&IDs • Develop and maintain standardized internal procedures/methods/calculations for hot taps, stopples, etc. • Familiarity and experience in the application of the following codes/standards: • * Title 49 CFR Parts 190-199, 40 CFR 112, 40 CFR 264 • ASME BPVC-VII Pressure Vessel • API 620, API 650, API 12C Tank Design • Piping Design Systems, ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 • API 610 Pumps, Centrifugal pumps (1hp to 10,000 hp) • API 674/675/676, Positive Displacement Pumps • API 682, Shaft Sealing Systems for Centrifugal and Rotary Pumps • Mechanical Seal Design Systems • API 520/521 Pressure Relief Devices • ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8 • DELIVERABLE MANAGEMENT • Coordinate and communicate project-specific mechanical deliverables with team members of all disciplines. • Research, review, and design integration of Company Standards, Municipality Requirements, and Regulatory Codes as it pertains to project deliverables. • Review of site-specific geotechnical reports for purposes of site development • Perform independent QA/QC of drawing deliverables. • Review other discipline deliverables to ensure mechanical design is properly executed and aligns with project objectives. • Perform field related work to obtain design pertinent information as needed. • Review and respond to project RFI’s throughout project-life. • Review third-party vendor drawings to ensure compatibility with intended mechanical design.
