Job Description Primary Function of Position The Ion™ endoluminal system is Intuitive's robotic platform for minimally invasive biopsy in the peripheral lung, with an initial goal of improving the early diagnosis of lung cancer. Our Product Engineering (PE) team focuses on maintaining and improving the current product. The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will be working with multi-disciplinary teams and leads cross-functional teams to maintain and improve the design, production, and service of the Ion™ System. About the Position Altex is developing high performance heat exchangers and thermal management systems, for use in military and commercial energy and power markets. The military product line is growing substantially, and a position is open for a dynamic candidate, with engineering background for maintaining the quality of the final product, by managing the quality of the parts and assemblies that are delivered by the suppliers and contract manufacturers, to ensure that the MIL SPEC product meets the required quality standard and the specifications, for shipment to the customer. The position requires a BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, with degree (MS) or BS Minor in Quality, with 2 years of experience with Quality, related to mechanical systems. Position and responsibilities will be based on candidate review.
