Position Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Electromechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in leading the integration of high-voltage battery systems and supporting electrical-mechanical interfaces across our production vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering with hands-on experience working alongside electrical teams, particularly in OEM or low-volume vehicle environments. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, practical problem-solving, and an ability to operate confidently on both the design side and the production floor. Startup experience required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Design, integrate, and validate battery assemblies, enclosures, mounting hardware, and thermal interfaces. • Define packaging constraints for BMS, DC-DC converter, on-board charger, and PDUs. • Lead issue resolution for battery and HV integration issues from production, testing, and field reports. • Maintain CAD, drawings, and BOM accuracy for battery and associated hardware. • Drive engineering change orders (ECOs) for battery and electrical-interface components. • Support routing, clipping, grommeting, and strain-relief strategies for HV and LV harnesses. • Oversee the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including design files, assembly instructions, and test reports • Interface with vendors for battery design, development, and contract manufacturing. • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the company. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with a strong focus on integration of high-voltage systems in automotive or similar environment. • Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools for design and simulation. • Excellent skills in technical documentation, including creating and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and specifications. • Proven track record in New Product Introduction (NPI) and bringing products from concept to market. • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially regarding HV or electrical manufacturing processes. • Demonstrated hands-on experience in electromechanical design, prototyping, and product development. Desired Skills • Passion for automotive restoration and modification. • Advanced Engineering degree. • Interest in Electric Vehicle conversions. • Understand EV components, systems, and manufacturing processes at a high level. Electric Motor & Pump Technician (Electrical or Mechanical Experience Required)

About Vallejo Electric Motor www.vallejomotor.com Vallejo Electric Motor (VEM) is a very busy, fast growing, industrial electric motor and pump repair shop. In 2022 we moved to a historic building on Mare Island that was once part of the country's largest Naval shipyard. We make use of the existing 60 foot ceilings and existing high capacity overhead cranes to repair medium and large motors and other rotating equipment of up to 50 tons that are used in a variety of local industries and municipalities. Job Summary We are looking for bright, hardworking and organized individuals to work as a manual machinist or electric motor mechanic, depending on your experience and skillset. Typical work to be executed by a mechanic includes: • Inspect, disassemble, and assemble rotating equipment using hand tools, cranes and forklifts • Carefully investigate the operating conditions and troubleshoot equipment failures • Produce detailed computerized inspection reports • Capture photos of disassembly and assembly processes • Perform a variety of electrical tests utilizing specialized test equipment • Employ precision measuring tools such as inside and outside micrometers and dial indicators Manual machinists will operate precision machine tools, including a lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, welder and other manual machine shop equipment. If you already have basic manual machinist skills, we will train you to work on rotating equipment with extremely tight machine tolerances. Candidates must be neat, organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, practical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work directly with manufacturing and quality teams on the production floor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues arising from production builds and field feedback. • Perform hands-on root-cause analysis on vehicles and components (fit, vibration, routing, durability, etc.). • Develop engineering solutions that eliminate recurring build or quality issues. • Partner with Process/Manufacturing to implement engineering solutions on the production line. • Update CAD models, drawings, and associated documentation for mechanical changes. • Validate fixes through fit-checks, prototype installs, and vehicle-level verification. • Interface with Process/Manufacturing to align engineering solutions with implemented production build.
