Additional responsibilities include performing light-heavy maintenance and service work. Duties/Responsibilities • Analyze and evaluate damaged vehicles to determine repair or service needs and replacement of parts. • Accurately estimate costs for repairs, maintenance and service required. • Perform advanced, basic and minor repairs as required – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, engine and transmission, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, restraints and airbags, air conditioning and computer systems. • Perform service and repairs following manufacturers’ manuals. • Document all repair/service information in management system. • Inspects and tests all mechanical repairs to meet manufacturers’ specifications. Road tests vehicles when required. • Communicate with production team to keep all vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery. • Ensure work area is kept clean, maintain all tools/equipment, follow safety/OSHA guidelines and handle and dispose of hazardous waste properly. • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive repair technology. • Attend daily release meetings. • Other duties as assigned. Experience/Skill Requirements • 3-5 years of automobile automotive mechanical/electrical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience in related industry required. • High School diploma/GED required, auto mechanic tech graduate preferred. • ASE certification or equivalent required. I-CAR training preferred. • Experience diagnosing problems – mechanical, repairing, rebuilding and overhauling mechanical, electrical, electronic and/or hydraulic systems in a wide variety of automotive vehicle, including hybrid vehicles. • Knowledge using manufacturers’ service and repair manuals. • Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments. • Ability to receive direction and work well with others. • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. • Must be able to work the following days and hours: • Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., edit as necessary) • Every other Saturday (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., edit as necessary) Physical Requirements Essential physical requirements include: • Ability to stoop, bend and kneel, squat, kneel and pulling • Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping • Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) • Standing, sitting and walking • Performing repetitive motions Work Environment Exposure to: • Paint, fumes and particles • Dirt / Dust • Chemicals / Toxins • Varying heat / cold • Intermittent noise Benefits 100% employer pays .Medical .Dental .Vision

The Mechanical Design Engineer shall report to and act with the close supervision of the Engineering Manager and/or Senior Mechanical Engineers as required by project assignments. Responsibilities Project duties include but are not limited to the following: A. Primary function consists of preparation of HVAC and/or plumbing design for projects or portions of projects, including the analysis, calculations, research, and layout necessary to develop the design documents. Attend design kickoff meeting between Estimator, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Senior Mechanical Engineer (if applicable), and other applicable construction team members. D. Specific design tasks include: 1. Project setup of AutoCAD or Revit Sheets 2. Load calculations using Trace 700 software 3. Equipment sizing and selection with input of Senior Mechanical Engineer 4. Layout of HVAC and/or Plumbing distribution systems 5. Title 24 Compliance Documentation 6. Update architectural backgrounds E. Specific design administration tasks include: 1. Promptly respond to any questions or clarification requests from Project Manager or Foreman. 2. Provide revised plans and/or specs as necessary, according to project documentation requirements set forth by the architect. 3. Update project documents for Record Set submittal to the owner as required by the project manager. 4. Perform site visit with Foreman as necessary for constructability issues and / or design review. F. Apply standard practices and techniques in analyzing data and results and recognize practical solutions to basic engineering problems. Always choose the least complex solution to a given problem that meets the requirements of the project. G. Coordinate design with other personnel working on same project and other trades involved with the project including the architect, structural engineer, civil engineer, electrical engineer, etc. 1. Confirm work outside of project scope is communicated and documented for client coordination H. Work in conjunction with project managers and estimators to evaluate and control all project scope changes. I. Notify Project Manager of any information that may increase or decrease the project scope of work. J. Perform job visits with construction team with the intention of understanding project constructability. K. Maintain professional written and verbal communication both inside and outside the company. L. May be required to use personal transportation to attend meetings, jobsite visits, training events, or punch list walks on an as needed basis. M. Always Represent Airco Mechanical Engineering Department in a professional and competent manner. N. Assume additional design responsibilities as directed by supervising Senior Mechanical Engineer or Engineering Manager. O. Manage workload and inform Engineering Manager or Project Manager if there is a potential risk of deadline being missed. P. Maintain professional appearance in anticipation of attending meetings with architects and engineers without prior notice. Q. Track time spent on projects and fill out bi-weekly timecards accurately and promptly.
