Mechanical Design Engineer Intern

The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for maintaining the department BOMs and drawings as well as minor design work including aesthetic parts, laser engraving, 3D printing, and bracket design. Our mechanical practice includes supercharger systems for today’s automotive, marine and industrial internal combustion engine applications. Engineer must be organized and able to understand the importance of small details. The engineer is expected to work and manage on several concurrent projects. Engineer should have knowledge of Solidworks and other CAD based programs. Mechanical Design Engineer

Our mechanical practice includes supercharger systems for today’s automotive, marine and industrial internal combustion engine applications. The engineer will need to be part of the design effort in both design and manufacturing. The engineer is expected to work and manage on several concurrent projects. Engineer should have knowledge of Solidworks and other CAD based programs. Field knowledge of mechanical systems and knowledge and application of sustainable design practices is required. Job Title: Product Engineer Job Description Actalent is seeking to hire a Product Engineer to join us in the piping manufacturing industry, who will be responsible for the design and analysis of products, creation of submittals, and project coordination and management from design through assembly. The role also includes providing manufacturing support and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes. Responsibilities • Design and analyze products to meet project specifications. • Create detailed submittals for project proposals. • Coordinate and manage projects from the initial design phase through to assembly. • Provide support to manufacturing processes and teams. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of product and process quality. Essential Skills • Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design. • Strong project management skills. • Experience with GD&T and manufacturing processes. • Ability to perform FEA analysis. • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design.
