Mechanical Field Service Engineer - Now Hiring

We are looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful Microgrid Field Service Engineers to assume responsibilities for multiple Microgrid generator sites. The successful candidate will have proven aptitude for performing maintenance on power generation equipment, electrical experience as a plus. The Microgrid Field Service Engineer will coordinate with the CA Regional Operations Manager to ensure generators are maintained, serviced, and operate for customer requirements for on demand electricity. Position will be in the field servicing the Lodi, Modesto, and Turlock Microgrid sites. You would report to the CA Regional Operations Manager. You'll make an impact by: • Perform skilled repairs of Generac (21.9L), Doosan (21.9 L), and Marathon generator ends, as well as various voltage control and synchronizing equipment. • Be proficient at learning and utilizing manufacturer specific software to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and control system problems. • Facilitate technical support and liaison with equipment manufacturers. • Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive generator maintenance tasks. • Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks. • Perform periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs. • Work in potentially confined areas of high heat and humidity, and cold. • Follow company process and procedures for verbal/written communications. • Utilize all current technology for communication, documentation, and research. • Ensure Safe Operation of electrical equipment by enforcing company and industry standards. • Safely prepare, operate, and maintain motor vehicle for the purpose of conducting company business. • Work with field service coordinators on necessary tasks that need to completed and what parts need to be ordered • Prepare monthly / yearly reports for CDWR on microgrid plant operational status • Diagnose and help craft solutions with the engineering team in Houston • Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company's management Requirements You'll sweep us off our feet if you: • Natural Gas or Diesel Engine experience • Power plant system knowledge • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills What you'll need: • Experience - Minimum of 3 Years Mechanical and/or Electrical, (Maritime Academy lab time or sea term applies) • Education Level - Undergraduate engineering degree preferred or Equivalent Training (i.e., Military) • Attention to Detail- Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail • Computer skills- Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work • Flexibility-Technician have a rotating on call schedule. Must have availability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays. • Must be able to be on your feet for multiple hours a day. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely • Integrity- Work efficiently and effectively when with or without supervision. Maintenance Mechanic

Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Production Facility in Lodi, CA. The Lodi production facility uses state-of-the-art equipment to process peaches, apricots, and apples into high-quality finished products. This position is part of a seniority-based collective bargaining unit and requires work on various shifts with potential for a great deal of overtime during the processing season. Pay Rate: $37.94 per hour. Full time/ 40 hours per week with some weekend and overtime hours required when needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Lodi, CA Production Facility. The Industrial Mechanic performs the following duties: Key responsibilities include: • Monitor the condition of all industrial production equipment. • Perform installation, troubleshooting and repairs to production equipment, machinery, and general production facilities. • Read, interpret and implement blueprints, prints, and drawings. • Perform fabrication for plant machinery. Cut and form parts and assemble parts to construct machinery and equipment. • Assist electricians as needed to install, repair and replace equipment. • Perform arc and gas welding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. • Maintain heating system, ventilation, boiler and other equipment. • Perform maintenance and repair to forklifts and semi-trucks. • Perform general carpentry, plumbing and pipefitting. • Maintain a clean, organized and hazard free work environment. • Other duties as assigned.
