HVAC Technician Job Summary The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems maintenance and repair. • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs problems with HVAC systems. • Performs routine maintenance checks on mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems. • Installs temporary and permanent HVAC units. • Utilizes hand and power tools for installations and repairs. • Interacts with customers to determine issues and repair requirements. • Conducts regular preventative maintenance on all types of HVAC equipment. • Responds to and completes service orders in a timely manner. Required Skills and Qualifications • Knowledge of HVAC system mechanics and electrical principles. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
