Responsibilities • Design and detail Dust collection and pneumatic conveying equipment and/or systems based on calculations • Creating 3D equipment drawings and modifying 2D based on project requirements • Equipment design, including the creation of standard drawings and manuals • Ability to work with individuals to complete projects efficiently and on time. • Collaborating with production to develop layouts, views, and details necessary for production and installation • Provide some technical support to the project manager and sales department. • R&D of new product lines and existing product improvements Skills You Need to Bring with You From a technical perspective, our ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experience with them: • Experience/knowledge of dust collection and pneumatic conveying is preferred but not required. • Requires a technical institute or associate degree in a related engineering field. • Experience that includes 3D CAD software for designing mechanical components and systems for fabrication • Must know about material properties, component choice, manufacturing, installation, machine shop processes, dimensioning, and tolerances • Must be able to create accurate and detailed 3D system designs as well as mechanical manufacturing drawings. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Accurate and strong attention to detail • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; Inventor 3D modeling is a plus. • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Something About Our Team We’re a collaborative group, getting things done together, enjoying our collegial environment, and working together.
