The Project Engineer is also responsible for tracking and maintaining all safety communications, manuals and records. Safety: • Prepare and give weekly Toolbox Talks, Daily Safety Huddles and maintain records. • Maintain a file for One Call Center requests to ensure no utilities are damaged during construction activities. • Maintain a retrievable filing system for the Hazardous Communication Program - MSDS. • Maintain the Project Safety Manual, make periodic jobsite safety inspections and record/file all findings. • Maintain records of site safety inspections and track all injuries that occurred on the project.
