Engineer I

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for an Engineer I! The Engineer I is responsible for the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management. Engineer I is an entry level position with general knowledge of maintenance. All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures. Job Duties • Complete work orders • Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs • Perform other job-related duties as requested • Able to use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges etc. • Able to work from blueprints and schematics, and interpret manufactures guidelines for the operation and maintenance of related equipment • Knowledgeable of hand and power tools • Proficient at inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing equipment and facilities fixtures, furnishings, and equipment • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Engineer III

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for an Engineer III! The Engineer III is a senior-level Engineering professional responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of all resort mechanical systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and boilers. All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures. Job Duties • Maintain and repair all mechanical equipment related to the successful operation of the Resort; to include boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, and generators • Sustain all equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy (pneumatic power tools, heavy machinery, wheeled industrial equipment, etc.) • Complete work orders within the timeframes given; report any and all additional problems to the appropriate channels • Perform routine inspection and maintenance of all mechanical systems in accordance with accepted engineering practices, procedures, policies and applicable codes • Utilize diagnostic tools, including but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges in order to identify needed repairs and potential deficiencies • Expert knowledge of hand power tools and standard engineering equipment • Gain a thorough understanding of all blueprints and schematics for a full, comprehensive mastery of the campus’ electrical, plumbing, and operational systems • General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. This also includes the ability to reach overhead, push, pull, bend down, stoop, and other major body movement. • Ability and knowledge of how to use a computer and diagnostic tools to diagnose vehicles, look up repair instructions and access Customer Management Software. This includes the ability to view a monitor and use touch screens, mice, and keyboards. • Advanced knowledge, ability, and skill in performing mechanical repairs and services on passenger automobiles including removing and reinstalling parts, and doing service procedures. • Knowledge and skill of how to perform a thorough inspection on a passenger automobile to find service and repairs needed based on the miles and condition of the vehicle. • Advanced knowledge and skill in passenger automobile diagnostics including using a diagnostic tree, and performing testing procedures to discover the cause (and repairs needed) to correct a customer's complaint. • Advanced knowledge of passenger automobile workings and systems.
