Mechanical Engineer PE

Description Are you interested in joining the largest employee-owned company in the United States? Do you have at least 10 years of retail grocery design experience as a licensed Professional Engineer? We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer 2 to join our Facilities Design team! The purpose of this position is to assist the Mechanical Engineering Manager in executing and planning Mechanical Engineering team design efforts associated with New Store Development, Remodels and Special Projects. The Mechanical Engineer 2 assists with training incoming mechanical engineering team members and troubleshooting HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems issues. This position provides engineering design solutions for Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire protection systems used in Publix retail facilities.This is primarily an office-based position located at Publix’s Lakeland, Florida corporate office.
