Facilities Mechanical Technician Job Description General Purpose: Calvary Port St. Lucie is a Christian, Non-Denomination Church seeking a Facilities Mechanical Technician who is a growing Christian actively involved in their church community. You will ensure optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of mechanical systems within our facilities, focusing specifically on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance. Essential Job Functions: • Conduct routine and specialized preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. • Respond swiftly to mechanical maintenance requests, troubleshoot complex issues, and complete effective repairs. • Manage specialized vendor relationships for advanced repairs. • Perform comprehensive inspections to identify and proactively resolve mechanical issues. • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities. • Collaborate with the Facilities Director on technical projects. • Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanup for events, specifically handling technical aspects. Minimum Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • 2-4 years of mechanical maintenance experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). • Demonstrable troubleshooting and repair skills. • Physical ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with support. • Alignment with Calvary PSL’s statement of faith, mission, and Biblical Lifestyle Agreement.
