Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing client in Attleboro. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical and electrical systems. Duties: • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in production equipment. • Repair or replace faulty components and parts. • Keep maintenance logs and update repair records. • Assist with machine setup and calibration as needed. • Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime. • Order and manage spare parts inventory. • Collaborate with production staff to schedule maintenance without disrupting workflow. • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area. Skills • Proficient in industrial maintenance practices with a focus on electrical systems. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC, panel cutting, and edgebanding machines. • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems. • Experience in welding and fabrication techniques is preferred. • Familiarity with high voltage systems is a plus, along with low voltage troubleshooting skills. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Holzma Panel Saw(Beam saw), Homag Edge Bander, Biesse Edge Bander, Gannomat boring Machine and Homag Boring machine.
