The individual will be responsible for operation of thru hole component soldering equipment to support production operations. The candidate will also assist with machine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and hand soldering for touchup processes. Performs a variety of duties assisting process engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. Drafts detailed drawings for fabrication. Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. Sets up and tests complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions. Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications.Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Must be able to read, write, and interpret English. - Must be able to use computers - Must be able to work for many hours in a seated position while using a microscope. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills High school diploma or GED and prior experience in manufacturing field. - Prior soldering certification - Experience using selective solder, wave solder, or flow solder machines. - Understanding of IPC-610 and/or J-Std-001 workmanship standards. - Understanding of through hole soldering specifications. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
